They don’t have the attention spans necessary for group study without music and finger dancing. At Manila English I do those things with preschool students too, but where I differ is that aside from group study, I allow students to learn individually by giving them 1-on-1 attention and don’t stick to a lesson plan. Not just any kind of 1-on-1 attention either. Because I work with each of my students individually and don’t stick to a lesson plan with my preschool students, I can adapt to every situation and insure rapid intellectual development. For example, I know the very moment when their motor skills have developed to a point that they can write letters. When they have been studying with me since age 3, my preschool students can already read and write by the time they enter Kindergarten.
