Winter lesson Plans for Preschoolers

December 8th, 2008 by admin

AAHH, Christmas time already. Christmas themes and Christmas lesson plans are just great for little ones. They are already excited about this time of year so why not incorporate learning with it?

Christmas is so exciting for little ones isn’t it? I know my daughter is all excited about the gifts under the tree. Every morning she asks me if it’s Christmas yet. I let her know that when all her chocolates are gone in her advent calendar it will be Christmas.  (I put her calender out of reach of course, otherwise I may find all her chocolates gone in one day) :)

It is a great time to teach them christmas math, with counting down the days until Christmas. Christmas reading and history is good too with reading them the story of “The First Christmas”. I found this site that teaches them christmas art and christmas science as well.  It looks like some great ideas I’ll try with my daughter.

Check it out.
