ESL Preschool – Individual study & vocabulary Manila English

September 25th, 2008 by admin

It is crucial for childhood development that preschool learners are able to do activities individually. They don’t have the attention spans necessary for group study without music and finger dancing. At Manila English I do those things with preschool students too, but where I differ is that aside from group study, I allow students to learn individually by giving them 1-on-1 attention and don’t stick to a lesson plan. Not just any kind of 1-on-1 attention either. Because I work with each of my students individually and don’t stick to a lesson plan with my preschool students, I can adapt to every situation and insure rapid intellectual development. For example, I know the very moment when their motor skills have developed to a point that they can write letters. When they have been studying with me since age 3, my preschool students can already read and write by the time they enter Kindergarten.
